Dining Room Quick Holiday Makeover

The time has come! The holidays are among us!  I’m super excited and will be hosting our family’s festivities these holidays. So I decided to give my dining room a quick and easy mini makeover to receive my holiday guests in style!

One way to update any space is with art work!  I ordered these beautiful acrylic frames and art directly from Art To Frame It literally took minutes to do as I knew I wanted my botanical prints to be encased in their gorgeous floating acrylic frames

They were shipped directly to my front door and packaged excellently and came with easy to follow instructions and hanging hardware.

I chose the gold hardware for mine!

I think they’re just perfect for my dining room and will work all year around!  One cool feature is that if I do decide I want a change, I can easily change out the artwork!

Next on the list was paint!  The power of paint is amazing.  In just an afternoon, my husband & I painted the dining room ultra pure white!  Using the Behr Marquee paint and primer in one saved us time.  It was an instant face lift, so fresh and clean!

I emptied the entire space, spackled any holes, and covered up furniture.

Now with a blank canvas the layering began!

Adding greenery and live plants are a year round staple for any room.  My fiddle leaf fig tree is about 3 years old and is thriving here in the window!!!

I layered two table runners for visual interest and texture. The burlap I made myself and the top one is from Pottery Barn

Next were the galvanized chargers that will work for both Thanksgining and Christmas too! Double bonus!

Then I added cloth napkins which make any gathering feel so special.  Again a neutral check can be used for any occasion!

I love mixing metals, and the gold rimmed plates and flatware really complimented the galvanized chargers!! the “Gather Here” pillow is from Krumpets Home

Lastly the piece de resistance is the centerpiece!  My antique dough bowl is another amazing staple that flows with the occasion.  I filled mine with dried eucalyptus and pumpkins, which can easily be swapped out for evergreens and ornaments!!!

Of course adding some candle holders sets the tone for some ambiance.  As soon as I confirm my guest list I will add some name tags for the last layer!!!!

Hope this mini makeover inspires you to get your dining room Holiday ready this year!!!!

Your dining room is gorgeous! It’s so bright and airy, so I’m sure the guests and yourself are really going to enjoy it and make some wonderful memories here. Love how the galvanized chargers can work for both Thanksgiving and Christmas too. That’s what I call a beautiful dining room on a budget. 🙂
